3 Week Absent
The past 3 weeks have been a financial semi-disaster: My mom’s 2 week confinement with a whooping almost Php200K hospital bill (could have bought 2 second hand cars already), take home medicine costs (roughly Php20K), business related problems resulting to shelling out more than Php50K, etc. I don’t really want to divulge much information regarding my other problems lately, but I guess having this type of financial problem is valid enough and is a good excuse to be absent in the world wide web for more than 3 weeks…
My mom was diagnosed with bronchitis and it took us 2 weeks in the hospital for series of medications, nebulizing, and tests. I was not able to go home during the confinement week since I was the only one who can accompany my mom. Although there were instances when I had to ask my cousin to take over so that I can process my Philhealth for hospital use. Anyways, I’m still glad she’s a bit fine now compared before wherein she’d have difficulty breathing with the slightest movement. She’s taking her medicines and was advised not to eat anything sour and salty, and less physical strains.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who texted me when my mom was confined, asking me how she’s doing, and to those who prayed for my mom’s recovery. From the bottom of my heart…

Anyways, I’m Maricel, an on and off blogger for more than 7 years who used different blogging platforms such as Blogger, Friendster, Tabulas, and Multiply, but I’ve come to love WordPress and I’ve become loyal to this blogging platform ever since.
