Another Milestone
Remember when I said my daughter is having a hard time pronouncing “C”, “K”, “Q”, and “G”? Guess what? Just yesterday, she was able to pronounced all these letters perfectly! Her “ato” is now smoothly and audibly pronounced as “ako” (Tagalog word for I or me), and instead of “stool” it’s now “school”! I literally burst out in tears last night when she showed me that she could finally pronounce those letters properly!
I guess I’m just very ecstatic (and she was too) that we played “imitation” wherein I say a word and then she repeats after me. Then after every word, I would kiss and hug her tight. I was really happy! I was kind of scared that she might have some problems with those letters until grade school but I’m just overly glad that she overcame the speech problem early.
I’m so proud of you!
