I’m finally back to blogging! After being gone from the online world for almost 5 days, I am now back missing my bloggie.

I was hospitalized due to episodes of tummy ache which was bothering me for almost 3 days. At first I thought it was just the usual dysmenorrhea, but the pain was crawling from the lower part of my abdomen up to my stomach area… so I decided to visit one of the many doctors that my mom knows and had myself checked. I was told to get CBC, urinalysis and fecalysis but the result didn’t show any signs of acute appendicitis. Doctors kept on pressing my tummy and they all agreed that it was not appendicitis since most of the pain were radiating from the left part of my tummy. I was confined after few hours so that they could fully observe me.

After my first 2 ultrasounds, it was determined that I have ovarian cyst, and that blood was leaking out of it that’s why my tummy was showing discomfort, hence they had to get blood samples every now and then to check if my blood count was stable or not. At first, the tests were showing that my hemoglobin was tremendously decreasing so the doctors decided that I should undergo operation, but to be sure, they asked me to take one last ultrasound, and they saw that the blood around the cyst was already clotting, meaning the bleeding should stop and should not cause any more harm. So in return, they asked for few more blood testing, for assurance, and saw that my blood count is going back to its normal state and is becoming stable, and after few more days of being hooked up with dextrose, the pain was finally gone. The doctors concluded that I don’t need to undergo any operation and just take antibiotics.

I thank God for this. Even though the hospital bill was something I couldn’t afford and was paid by my dad, I’m glad I feel okay.
