Daughter is Fine Now, Thank You Savings
*Sigh* My daughter was hospitalized few weeks ago due to infectious diarrhea. At first, she kept on vomiting and complaining of headache. It was my first time to see her shout due to head pain, she was also shivering, so I got very nervous and had to rush her to the hospital.
While on the way, she was complaining that her tummy was aching as well, and that her rashes were itchy. I thought it was her allergies or something, but by the time we arrived the hospital, she continued vomiting and it took around 4 times before the doctors decided that she should be confined. It took quite a few hours for the process but I was a bit more calm when I saw her with dextrose. I was afraid she would dehydrate with all the vomiting going on. When I went to the admissions office, they asked for deposit and it was unfortunate for me that I didn’t bring enough money. I thought I needed to loan money, but good thing I had some money saved up, although I had to get the money from my dad (yeah I give him my savings because I can’t open a bank account yet due to lack of ID).
After we got the room, she wasn’t vomiting anymore, but instead she takes a poop every 5 – 10 minutes. It was very watery and I got scared as well because I was afraid that she was having amoebiasis, but after series of tests, it was a good thing that it was not.
However, after almost a week of confinement, and with the hospital bill increasing, I was worried that I may need merchant cash advance because I knew my savings were not enough, thanks to my parents, I was able to borrow a few to cover the expenses.
I’m glad my daughter is doing fine now. Must have been something she ate.
Now I could say that saving up does make a lot of difference.

glad to know she’s fine now!

That’s one of the reasons why we have to save up. Good to hear your daughter is now well.
