The most dreaded school requirement that I honestly didn’t want to face – A Family Picture. My daughter’s teacher asked me to have my daughter bring one this coming Monday and my heart literally sank as I stuttered and told the teacher “Okay”. I think they’ll be making a family tree or something.

I didn’t actually want my daughter to bring a family picture that only consisted of me and her. So I decided to take a picture of my family together with my daughter.

At first I was starting to lose hope and just took pictures of me and my daughter:

Finally, after hours of waiting, everyone in the house was complete. I asked our house help to take a picture of us and decided to have it printed for my daughter to bring. Here’s the picture: My Family Picture (if you’re not my friend in FB, you won’t see it).

I gave my parents a copy as well. At least with that, the family picture that she would be bringing to school would not be too “bare”.
