Google PR Update: PR 1
Finally, after hundreds and hundreds of refreshes, I think I can safely say that this blog has garnered a PR1 from PR0! YAY! Yep, yesterday, Google has been updating website’s and blog’s page ranks and it usually lasts a week or so. At first I kept on seeing a PR 1 on my SEO Toolbar but the PRchecker.info website said otherwise.
So I thought it was just a toolbar glitch so I opted not to care about that small green bar (but honestly I was starting to get excited), and then after few hours, bloggers were starting to make noises around the web talking about Google updating PR’s! That time I instantly got nervous and started to check PRchecker.info website over and over again, until finally, it showed me a green PR1 bar for The Life Encounters.
I’m glad as well that Mr. Google recognized my other new blogs, and gave them PR’s (although it’s 0, but hey, it’s better than N/A right? 
)

Yes the Pagerank update is out and up – thanks for the notice! From zero to four – went online just after the January pagerank update. I am really curious if it will affect our traffic!

can i ask something..I’m a new blogger, I started blogging last october 2010 and my blog had a pr 0 and my traffic was quite good..after google updated page rank my blog got pr 3 but my traffic went down.. is normal or what?

It can probably be because you have more backlinks. I checked your blog, and it says N/A for the PR. Which blog are you referring to?
