Happy 4th Birthday Julie!

Dear Julie,
When you were still in my womb, I honestly didn’t want to keep you. I was not prepared for you. I didn’t know how or where to start. I was scared back then. But you know what? I’m thankful that I decided to keep you. You are definitely a gift to me. Ever since you were born, I have been silently asking you for forgiveness while you are sleeping. I’ve been regretting the moments wherein I even thought of not keeping you. I was wrong and naïve. And I’m truly sorry for that.
I’m not a perfect mom, but I will work hard to be YOUR perfect mom. You have become my inspiration. You became my first “reality-check eye-opener”. You made me realize that life is not easy but can be fulfilling at the same time. You made me stronger and wiser. You made me a whole new person. You remind me of my priorities. You are my everything…
Love,
Mom
Pardon me for that short letter. It’s something that I always wanted to let my daughter know, but I guess she’s too young to see it for now. My baby is becoming a lady! Just a blink of an eye and she’s now turning 4! (Sigh…) I dread the moment when she becomes a teenager and would ask me if she’s allowed to have a boyfriend! But for now, I’m giving my attention on her studies, and I want to make sure she enjoys her life to the fullest!
I love you Julie! Happy birthday to you.

That is so touching! I agree, they grow up so fast. My baby is fast approaching her 3rd birthday. I can still remember how small she was.
