I Think I Need My Own TV

If you only have one TV and a toddler, expect your TV-watching days to be over. I can assure that you definitely cannot watch TV anymore… Well, I believe most parents can attest to this.

Just like how my daughter hogs the TV all day long. I seriously don’t even know what’s in and what’s hot around the globe. Would you believe that I wasn’t aware of the Japan earthquake / tsunami incident, nor did I even know about the Filipinos who were condemned of drug-trafficking if it wasn’t for the posts in PMC Heart Matters? I had to watch ABS-CBN via online streaming just to know what was happening back then! I don’t usually do that but I knew it was a serious matter so I searched the web for streaming websites. I did try to change the channel, but my daughter growled and shouted, asking me to change the channel back to Disney Channel. X_X

So technically, I have no choice but to watch just these 5 following channels all-day: Playhouse Disney, Disney Channel, Baby TV, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network – Playhouse Disney being her favorite. She would watch the all-time favorite purple dinosaur Barney every mornings (around 7am), a classic Disney-character-filled Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where she learned how to count, Sheetrock Hill’s Handy Manny, Imagination Movers (a personal favorite- LOL :)) ) where she learned how to, well imagine, then there’s also Higglytown Heroes which are modeled on Matryoshka Dolls, or also known as Russian Nesting dolls. Basically, the TV would just revolve around those channels and show!

Right now, she’s watching Dibo the Gift Dragon. Sigh… I think I need to add a TV in my wishlist. :(

I wish I have my own TV too!

One more issue is that video gaming has become one of the all-time main forms of entertainment for people spanning various ages. Kids participate in video games, and also adults do, too. The particular XBox 360 is probably the favorite video games systems for folks who love to have a lot of games available to them, along with who like to learn live with other individuals all over the world. 4. I have figured out some significant things through your site post. One other thing I would like to state is that there are plenty of games on the market designed specially for preschool age small children. They include pattern acknowledgement, colors, animals, and shapes. These typically focus on familiarization in lieu of memorization. This will keep little kids engaged without feeling like they are studying. Thanks for posting   I Think I Need My Own TV by The Life Encounters.

I’ve observed that in the world the present moment, video games are the latest trend with children of all ages. Periodically it may be unattainable to drag your family away from the activities. If you want the best of both worlds, there are many educational games for kids. Great post   I Think I Need My Own TV by The Life Encounters.

I agree! Right now, my cousins have moved in to my house and are hogging the TV and watching Disney Junior all day. It’s so frustrating! For example, that Agent Oso thingy, it’s like a discolored secret agent panda, who is part of an overly high tech agency, used to teach kids how to do everyday things? Waste of time much.
I’m trying to get them to watch something else, but luckily, I have my own tv :-D
