Kids Can Be the Source of Plumbing Problems
Being a mom, I always wanted to see my daughter becoming independent and being able to do things on her own without my help mainly because I don’t want her to become like me (yes, I was very much “babied” when I was a kid, and until now, my parents still do *sigh*). I allow her to run and roam around as long as there’s someone supervising her, I allow her to play with other kids and although I give her instructions not to be excessively fidgety, and while I do mind if she gets hurt whenever she trips or bumps into something, I believe the pain caused is also something that would let her understand why I told her not to and helps her get back up.
I also allow her to take a bath on her own, however I’d rather be there when she does or have the house help look after her. Most of the time she brings her dolls and toys and have them “take a bath” as well.
One time when I was about to use the bathroom, I noticed something odd inside the toilet bowl, so I had to check if there were any plumbing problems and guess what I found?!

Taaddaaa!!!! Yep, apparently one of her dinosaurs was asking for help as it was slowly drowning inside the bowl. I had to pick it up, sanitize (drowned the toy with alcohol) and dry the toy first before giving it back to her.
I wonder if that’s also the reason why one of her Barbie dolls lost a pair of shoe… ![]()

I agree that toys would be a source of problem because kids put them where ever they want.
