My Dream House is Still a Dream

With the countless series of unfortunate events happening right now, my dream house would stay a dream for now. It seems that with our current financial crisis, my dream of having my own house and lot would be pushed back further off of my priority list. But nevertheless, I still have a clear picture of how my dream house would probably look like.

I have always envisioned a house with a gate (any type of gate would do, as long as it has a gate). Somehow I feel like it adds security although honestly, it’s more of an aesthetics to me. I don’t really mind if it’s a bungalow-type or a 2-storey house, as long as it feels cozy, and with proper partitions to separate the kitchen, dining area, living area, bathrooms, guest rooms and bedrooms. Kitchen should have an oven since I’ve been dying to learn how to bake, bathrooms should have proper bathroom lighting fixtures and as much as possible with running hot water and a bath tub, and bedrooms should be designed accordingly. Kid’s room should look fun yet comfortable, and of course: safe, while the master bedroom should be sensual and inviting.

But then again, going back to reality, I know have a very long way to go. I wonder if I should look for a job instead?

Keep dreaming. Most of our accomplishments started from it.

  2. just keep on praying to God to make your dreams come true, and of course if you need to look for a job that may help you in achieving your dreams, that is not a bad idea either. as long as you still have time for your family.

    • Thanks Eric… I’m still thinking positive and hoping for the best to get my dream house sooner or later…. As for looking for a job, I’m really tempted, but I’m going to try home-based work for the meantime, if it doesn’t work out, then I think I’m off to getting a job.
