Planning on a Dedicated Server

I’ve been ever so grateful that mommy Rubz has been so generous to all her online friends and has been providing great hosting services for her clients, and she became the talk of the town because of her honesty and transparency. Never have I heard negative feedback about her and I’m glad I became one of her clients.

Personally I don’t own a very big business that requires networking or web access so I wouldn’t really need a very powerful dedicated server, and being a blogger, I’m very much contented with my hosting services. However, would it hurt having a dedicated server hosting?

But before anything else, what is a dedicated server?

Dedicated Server

A dedicated server is a type of hosting where a customer rents an entire server for himself. For a blogger like me, this simply means a rented space where I can host domains, install blogging platforms, make a forum, store files, or make a “self-hosted” blog “live”. There are different types of dedicated servers and there are actually a lot of reviews from different consumers around the globe. The better the server is (meaning faster data transfer rate, more disk space, stable connection), the lesser downtime.

Although I am very much tempted to go and choose my own dedicated server, I’ll stick to my current one because I’m very happy with it.

This post was compensated by Bucks2Blog in a blogger campaign, however all views and opinions are solely mine.
