PMC Grand Eyeball 2
Event date: November 22, 2011
Time: 12:00 noon
Location: Aling Tonya’s Seafood Restaurant

Finally! After months of waiting and planning, it finally pushed through. I’m talking about the much awaited 2nd Grand Eyeball of Pinay Mommies Community that was held at Aling Tonya’s Seafood Restaurant last November 22, 2011.
Literally Pinay moms all over the globe joined in so it was really a blast for everyone, including me.
To start off, registration started at 12:00 noon. The registration “table” was manned by Levy, Rossel, Nina, Mae, and yours truly.

Loot bags were handed out as soon as the attendees register, however some of the loot bags were given out in a much later time in accordance to the program flow.
First loot bag handed out was courtesy of Smart Steps. Each loot bag includes Smart Steps Baby Laundry Detergent, Smart Steps Baby Bottle Cleanser, Smart Steps Baby Fabric Conditioner, Holy Seat Disposable Toilet Seat Cover and Holy Seat Toilet Seat Sanitizer.

Next loot bag was from Unilab, Dolan and Ceelin. The loot bag include Rashfree (for diaper rashes), Diatabs (for diarrhea), Enervon (multivitamins in which I’ll be taking in starting next week), a 500ml Ceelin (yey! no need to buy my daughter’s next supply), tumbler, pouch and pencil.

They were the major sponsors for the said event (thank you).
After which, another loot bag was up for grabs, this time it was from one of the minor sponsors, Umami:

Then few minutes later, the moms were asked to line up in the buffet area to grab some grubs! I’m pretty sure everyone was waiting for this moment (LOL!) I know I was *wink*

Foods include sinigang, crabs, shrimps, calamares (my absolute favorite), chopsuey, porkchop, and bistek tagalog (okay, pardon me but please do let me know if I made a mistake identifying some of the food because I’m not really good with Filipino dishes
)

After the munching and the endless chit-chatting, the program officially started with Ning and Cielo as the hosts:

But before anything else, opening prayers were done by Arlene:

Then next came welcoming remarks from Divine:

Of course, a short PMC introduction and history, from the one and only founder, Ruby:

For those who are not aware what PMC is all about, PMC started four years back with only just a blog post, but as technology evolved, the community became bigger through forums, but when Facebook came in, the PMC group was made, where Filipina blogger moms all over the world are welcome to join, as long as the blog carries the PMC badge.
During Ruby’s speech, it was mentioned that moms are not just there to be housewives and do household chores. Most of the blogging moms are actually college graduates who can provide substantial insights regarding motherhood and parenting, which is why they blog in the first place. Few sources from the net define “mommy bloggers” as freebie addicts and that all we wanted were free items from public relation networks. But as Ruby said, the reason why moms love doing reviews on items is because moms would want to be the first one to try things out before they have their families use them, and personally, that’s right. I wouldn’t want my daughter to use an item that I don’t trust myself.
Next up was raffling of major and minor sponsor’s prizes! Yep, aside from loot bags, they also provided prizes to be raffled off to the moms, how generous is that! Everyone of course was excited because after all, who wouldn’t want to win any raffle, right?
So first items that were raffled off were from the major sponsors.
First, Smart Steps. Winners were Ane, Vix, and Jheng.

Next was from Unilab, winners were Ning, Nicquee and Cecile.

As for Ceelin prizes, lucky winners were Josie, Donna, and Tetcha.

And for Dolan, Peachy, Karen and Gigi got the prize.

Of course, let’s not forget our minor sponsors as well, who also had their share of gifts for the moms as well as raffle prizes.
As early as now, let me apologize as I don’t exactly remember which sponsor came first, but I’ll just go on with what I remembered.
Richwell was generous enough to provide toys for the kiddos. Winners were Nicquee, Willa, Karen, and Eihdra. Willa gave her winning item to Ruby since she won a doll in which her two boys won’t have any use of.

Ainon gave us 2 strollers wherein the group will donate to a charity this coming December. As for the Ainon prizes, winners were Donna, Iris A, Josie, Gene, Divine and Nora.

Another minor sponsor would be Drypers. Winners were Arcee, Levy, Kaye, Jemimah, Gigi, May, Arlene, and Ane.

Next was Avon, the company for women. Well, we all know that despite being a mom, we all need to look our best wherever we go, agree? Winners for this raffle were Cecile, Olga, Hazel, Jheng, Ellen, Iris P, Badet, and me (I’m the one wearing brown)!

From World of Wellness, winners were Nicquee, Ane, Josie and Yami.

And last but not the least, Grendha, in which they asked the winners to send in their shoe size and home address for the prize. Winners were Yami, Fedhz, Rossel and Cielo.

Then we have Ruby again for PMC and its vision and mission.

There were a lot of plans made for the group like charity events, Christmas party, and PRMoms.net (PMC’s PR network).
Anyways, after the speech, remember I mentioned that some loots were given away in a much later time? Well after the raffles, it was time to give out P&G and Scotch Brite loots.

And let’s not forget Geiser Maclang, who gave us a box of Krispy Kreme and a Manny Pacquiao shirt:

Before I forget, Goldquest Biotechnologies also gave us Php 5,000, and was used as an additional fund for the said event.
Then after the loot bags came the PMC shirts! I was excited to get mine but I had to man the loot bag area so I waited for few minutes before I went to Ruby to get mine.

While some moms are busy with the shirts, there were other items being raffled off courtesy of the PMC moms.
Coffee maker from Levy, winner Vix!

Walis from Baguio courtesy of Ane. Winners were Cherry, Pehpot, Rossel, Tetcha, Mauie, Ria, Peachy, Didi, Cecile, Levy, Karen and Kat.

There were a lot of other prizes that were raffled off from the PMC moms, but I’m terribly sorry as I forgot the others (please do leave a comment and let me remember
)
And of course, one of the most awaited part of the event, the tiangge in Divisoria! I mean, the token giving part! (Look at the picture and you’d know why it’s a tiangge) I purposely stayed in the corner of the room because I wasn’t able to bring any token during the day (*sob* daughter was hospitalized so I didn’t have the time to go out for token-shopping)…

Everyone was exhausted after the token giving… C’mon look at that! It’s like bargaining in Divisoria! LOL!
And of course, we had a photobooth sponsored by Krazy Pix Photobooth! This is me and my “classmate” Fhedz (yeah we look like high school students don’t we?)

Oh and we’re famous! Look!

It was definitely a blast!!! Can’t wait for the Christmas party!

I am really, really envy! Hu hu hu, I hope I could join the next PMC grand EB… Congrats moms!
