Welcome to my humble online abode. I’m very positive that this is going to be my permanent online resident!

Anyways, I’m Maricel, an on and off blogger for more than 7 years who used different blogging platforms such as Blogger, Friendster, Tabulas, and Multiply, but I’ve come to love WordPress and I’ve become loyal to this blogging platform ever since. At first, blogging was something I did as a past time activity, sharing nonsense over the web, my rants and whatnot. But ever since I started learning how to earn using a blog, it became my bread and butter.

I used to work in a call center as a Quality Analyst, but now I’m a work-at-home mom of one toddler. I loved my work before but due to complications, my dad asked me to resign and stay home instead – which actually gave me more time to spend on online ventures.

I’m more into guy stuff like games, guns, table-top games, cards, anime, etc. I was once a hardcore gamer, but due to the fast paced advancement of technology, I wasn’t able to keep up, but I plan to catch up. I played airsoft too, but due to priorities, I had to sell my gun. I’m starting with Magic: The Gathering card game but I don’t have a deck of my own yet. I guess even though I’m into guy stuff, the reason why I can’t really stick to them as of the moment is because of my soft side – I keep my priorities intact hence I know what to let go for the best benefit.

The reason why I write The Life Encounters – is not to only express myself, but also remind myself and readers that there are a lot of things that we would encounter in life that are worth remembering and sharing.
